Signal Now Lets You Link Multiple Phones to One Account

Signal has introduced a new feature that lets users link multiple phones to a single account, expanding beyond the previous support for PCs and iPads. With this update, you can now add an Android phone or iPhone as a linked device, allowing you to check and respond to messages across all your devices. When linking a new device, you have the option to transfer an end-to-end encrypted copy of your previous messages, helping to mitigate risks associated with shared, lost, or compromised devices. The feature is rolling out with Signal version 8.20 on Android and version 8.22 on iPhone and iPad. Additionally, Signal has made significant interface improvements to enhance the linking experience.
