Microsoft is moving forward with plans to launch an AI-powered 'super app' that integrates its Copilot assistant across multiple domains. During an earnings call on Wednesday, CEO Satya Nadella revealed that the application will unify chat, coding, and autonomous agent features into a single platform. 'Copilot is evolving rapidly from chat to Cowork to Autopilots,' Nadella stated. 'This quarter, we are bringing these Copilot experiences together, including code, in one super app… This is a major step forward, and I look forward to sharing more soon.' The announcement follows a Fortune report from months earlier indicating Microsoft's ambition to create a comprehensive AI hub. The super app is expected to serve both consumer and commercial users when it launches later this year.
